Program or resource results in a non-degree education credit from a specific educational institution and/ or extension. Start2Farm does not include matriculated degree programs.

The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle (IFFS) Young Farmer Training Program (YFTP) is a paid multi-year farming apprenticeship for youth in Wake County. The IFFS Raleigh Teaching Farm hosts apprentices two days per week beginning each Spring.

The Farm Business and Production Management technical diploma includes both classroom and on-the-farm instruction as well as group tours to give the producer-student a comprehensive, affordable education in production agriculture. The program consists of five or six courses taught over a six-year period.
