This program houses an ongoing peer support network, culturally appropriate training and technical services, and farm and business incubation facilities.  Participants will learn about markets, globalization, cooperatives, and production.

"The Farmers Incubator Project is a model for sustainable economic development and social justice. Consisting of a demand driven series of programs providing farmland, resources, education, training and assistance in Spanish, this program address the specific needs of emerging Latino farmers in urban settings.

"Experienced practitioners, those that are out in the field and pastures making a living in agriculture, have some of the best tools, tips, and information to share with beginning farmers and ranchers. This project allows these experienced farmers and ranchers to pass on their skills to those that are beginning.

Forestry Equipment and Working Capital Loan (FEWCL) offers low-interest  loans to Maryland's forest products businesses with respect to working capital and equipment purchases. The maximum loan amount is $150,000.

The Maryland Rural Business Equipment and Working Capital Fund Loan (RBWCL) will offer low-interest loans to established Ag/RB-industry firms and producers for working capital and equipment purchases.

Most farmers do some kind of planning on their farms nearly every day. Whole Farm Planning is distinct from other farm planning approaches because it ties all the planning you do together for the whole farm. This holistic approach is based on the short and long-term vision you and your family has for itself and the farm.
