The project is organized into four activities: ACTIVITY 1: Whole Farm Planning. This activity offers a collaborative and integrated team approach to planning for business growth over two years.

The Agriculture and Land-based Training Association's (ALBA) Farm Incubator Toolkit is a resource aimed to help other organizations that are interested in starting a farm incubator program.

The Integrated Poultry, Livestock And Agroforestry Production And Training For New And Beginning Farmers And Ranchers program at the University of Arkansas has created a modular learning program that provides information on poultry, small livestock and agroforestry operations, as well as information on business development and farm safety.

We have crated a learning and production program that uses elements and strategies that are easy and inexpensive to implement, keep and mange while providing fast returns and multiple marketing opportunities (poultry, small ruminants and agroforestry) while using ecologically and financially sustainable strategies.

"The UC Small Farm Program, working with county-based UC Cooperative Extension farm advisors, provides resources for agritourism operators and hosts California's statewide directory of agritourism operations.

"The programs provides education, technical assistance, coaching and mentoring to beginning farmers in topic areas of production and management strategies, business management and decision support, marketing strategies, legal strategies, and topics related to processing safe and nutritious food.

This program seeks to provide an effective safety and health best practices resource manual for new and beginning farmers and ranchers; and to develop and model hands-on, train-the-trainer workshops for teaching safety and health best practices to new and beginning farmers and ranchers.
