Groundswell’s New Farmer Training Project aims to increase the number, diversity, profitability, and environmental sustainability of area farmers by providing training, mentoring, business planning support, and affordable access to land at EcoVillage in Ithaca."

This program is to "help beginning and retiring farmers/ranchers enhance success of farm/ranch transfer, business viability and land stewardship. Activities fall into three areas: 1) asset and business transfer, 2) business skills and information access, and 3) statewide network of resource providers and advisors.
