The NOFA/RI Organic Farm Advisor Program provides technical guidance to teach farmers how to implement organic methods on their farms. NOFA also conducts growers workshops, offers summer tours of organic farms and gardens, and provides organic certification assistance.

Conducts on-farm and participatory research, publishes In Good Tilth (a bi-monthly educational magazine) and other publications, hosts workshops and an annual farmer conference, and sponsors and facilitates growers meetings.

The center conducts a five-week Permaculture Certificate Program, a five-week organic gardening program, a one-month Eco-Building course, and reforestation projects.
